About the Workshop

This hands-on class introduces the basics of linocut printmaking. Students will learn simple design techniques, carving methods, and hand-printing processes while creating a set of custom coasters inspired by their favorite cup of tea.

Participants will design and carve their own linocut block featuring imagery such as berries, chocolate, spices, flowers, and other tea ingredients. Using their carved block, students will print a coordinated set of four wood or cork coasters to take home.

The class is beginner-friendly and relaxed, with no prior printmaking experience required. Students will leave with their carved linocut block, a finished set of four printed coasters, and foundational knowledge of linocut tools, materials, and process. All materials provided.
